DSCC's first Autocross for 2019 started on a great morning and headed to a warm afternoon.
23 Drivers started the Autocross Competition and nearly all finished the day. One wheel went missing in it's last run of the day.
Danny Dunn brought out a new car - Mitsubishi 3000GT twin-turbo 4wd to compete with the Subarus in Class D.
The GT performed well on it's first attempt but had temperature problems by the end of the day. Hopefully, there will be a full recovery before the next event.
Harrison van Zeyl, while still a Junior, entered a Subaru in Class D this year.
Coming in 3rd place outright for the day he performed better than expected (by him or anyone else).

During the lunch break 9 juniors (6 new to racing) had a go in a Khanacross event, each with an instructor to help them along the way.
There was a wide variation in ability between the drivers but all made a good attempt and enjoyed their time on the course.
